I am a registered teacher in Hong Kong. I have several years of experience as a Primary school teacher and as a tutor. I was responsible for pastoral care, teaching Maths, General Studies and Religion in a large primary school and overseeing the Maths curricula for all Primary key stages. I was also responsible for planning and delivery of assessments and communicating with parents. I have taught over 1000 students in my teaching life. I have taught students with different abilities, different potential and students with special needs. I understand the the difficulties that most students will encounter in Maths. I have successfully taught them effectively eg engaging students in their learning by using hands-on activities to help them to understand the concept and knowledge in a visual way. I will create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and ask questions. Giving positive feedback is way to build up students' learn confidence which facilitate them to learn more. I can deliver online Maths lessons(UK and HK curriculum) for primary and Secondary students. Esp those are taking transfer tests and GCSE. Also students who want to learn Chinese(Cantonese). I can specially deliver online Primary Maths lessons who is studying in Hong Kong, or planning to go to Hong Kong to study so that they can adapt better.
