I am a trainer, teacher, teacher trainer, tutor and coach with 38 years of experience. I have lived and worked in Germany, Italy, France, Sweden and the UK. Along the way I have learned to speak French, German, Italian, Swedish and Spanish fluently, and am learning Russian and Chinese Mandarin currently. I am currently studying to become an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect through “OPTIMA IT Training”, Harlow since July 2021. I am about to do the Cloud Practitioner exam at the beginning of January 2022. I have worked in businesses of all kinds from small family companies to large multinationals. I have also been employed in kindergarten, primary/elementary, secondary/junior-senior high schools and universities, and language schools throughout Europe I have provided guidance and assistance for a huge range of participants of my courses from all over the world, and from all ages and professional backgrounds who have then gone on to engage effectively with international company teams, their clients and suppliers. My participants have described me as having excellent interpersonal abilities, being empathetic, with excellent listening skills, willing to take the initiative to deal with other people’s challenges and difficulties and sincere in my desire to see them succeed in their course objectives and in meeting their needs. My team leadership in charge of groups of participants on many hundreds of courses on Coaching and Teacher Training around the UK and in Europe since 2009, has never been called into question by any member of any group. Being a teacher and a trainer in new situations, new environments, new companies and new countries demands considerable resilience, persistence, patience, determination, and a “Can do” spirit, all of which I have. To this end, I consider how learners succeed in tasks, through their own innate skills and abilities, be they visual audio, kinaesthetic, intrapersonal, or interpersonal. I am a passionate believer in the power of education and learning through life, in order to make people see their real potential and achieve their goals. In this regard I like to learn and to do courses to develop new skills and techniques to apply for my own interests and to teach and to train others.
