Hello my name is Sara. I am Italian, I am 29 years old and I live in London. I have always been very passionate about foreign languages: I started learning English when I was a child and then I studied French in high school. At university I was looking for a bigger challenge and I decided to learn Chinese Mandarin and I completed my Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (Chinese and English) in 2016 . Afterwards, I have been to China for a couple of my months to improve my Chinese. I then enrolled to university in Italy again and I graduated with a Master Degree in Foreign Languages for International Cooperation (Chinese and English) in 2019. With regards to my teaching experience, I thaught Chinese Mandarin to a 8 years old child and I have experience as English tutor for teenagers and adults. I am currently completing the TEFL qualification and I plan to complete the course by the end of February 2023.

I have always been very passionate about foreign languages and the decisions I made throughout my life have been inspired by my love for them. After completing my studies 3 years ago, I decided to move to the UK to start my career here. I can speak four languages and I live in a foreign country, therefore I know how learning a new language can be exciting and difficult at the same time. When it comes to teaching a new language, I believe in a practical approach. While grammar is important, I believe that conversation and practise are the keys to level-up the student's language skills. I can teach to all kind of students and I have experience in teaching to children, teenagers and adults. My studies at university provided me with a solid grammar and cultural knowledge about the languages I teach, while the TEFL course is contributing to my teaching development. My dream is to be able to share my enthusiasm in learning English with other students and make the learning process as enjoyable as possible. Can’t wait to meet you and have fun together! Sara
