Hello!! My name is Priscila. I am from Brazil. I am bilingual. I speak both English and Portuguese fluently. I have two dogs. They are called Elias and Bilu. I love to play with them. I like going to the beach, to the movies to church and traveling. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Central Florida. I also have the TESOL certificate. I have, altogether, 17 years of experience teaching English to kids, teens and adults. I also teach elementary math to students that need help. My classes are dynamic and personalized to the student`s needs and interests. In my English lessons, besides the coursebooks, I like to use songs, games, videos, movies and implement other subjects to the lesson like math, science or history to make the lesson more interesting. Also, I like to do activities using daily situations that the students can practice whatever topic or skill that they are learning. The most important thing is for the student to have fun while learning. In my math lessons, every skill that the student learns, we practice together with online manipulatives or other strategies. Then, the student has a chance to practice by him/herself. We do a lot of practice, so the student can become expert in the topic or skill being taught.
