Hi everyone, I'm Paolo Formento, I'm 26 and I am a professional chess player. I am a Fide Master since 2015 with 1 IM norm and for several years I dedicate myself to teaching with passion. I adapt my lessons based on each student's strengths and weaknesses. I can help with all aspects of the game, (opening, middlegame and endgame) and how to find the right plan in each type of position. Training is personalized and is based on the deep analysis of the player's games with the aim of focusing the biggest effort on correcting the player's weaknesses, but without neglecting any of the areas of the game (tactics, strategy, endings, openings). I also give to my students problems to solve in order to check the improvements and eventually the themes to focus on more. Throughout my chess career I have collaborated with many international coaches that were using many different approaches. Ciao a tutti, sono Paolo Formento e ho 26 anni, attualmente vivo a Imperia e da quando sono bambino nutro una forte passione per gli scacchi. Imparare questo fantastico sport mi ha arricchito come persona e mi ha permesso di fare molte esperienze in giro per il mondo e attualmente gli scacchi sono il mio lavoro dato che è da diversi anni che mi dedico all'insegnamento e all'agonismo. Adatto le lezioni in base ai punti di forza e di debolezza dell'allievo e propongo sin dall'inizio una serie di posizioni da discutere insieme sui temi principali del mediogioco e tecnica del finale, per poi verso la fine del corso predisporre un repertorio teorico sia per il bianco che per il nero. Sono disponibile per dare lezioni ai giocatori di scacchi a qualsiasi livello, dal principiante al giocatore di categoria nazionale.
