I am a University of Surrey Alumni, graduated in International Hospitality and Tourism Management. However, I also have a certified qualification in teaching Spanish as a second language. My diploma is certified by Escuela Cervantes affiliated school of Instituto Cervantes.)
¡Hola! My name is Natalia, I come from Barcelona, but I have been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I teach Spanish and Catalan to all levels and ages. After graduating from University, I decided to change my career path from Hospitality to Education/Teaching. I realised how much I loved sharing my first language and culture with the people around me (friends, colleagues and family) and decided to take a step fowards by getting a diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (Profesor de ELE). I am a very friendly person, and I will do my best to make sure my students have a great time while learning a new language.
I would like to offer a first meeting before starting tutoring where both, student and teacher (parents welcome as well) can get to know each other and see if they would be compatible. I want to make sure I can meet any of the requirements the student needs (passing a specific exam, developing a specific skill like speaking, etc). During this first meeting, I would introduce myself and my way of teaching.
