I have completed by Bachelor of Theology degree with distinction in 2022 at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. I had my academic work in university acknowledged by the Golden Key International Honour Society and was granted the privilege of becoming a member of this society. The Golden Key International Honour Society is an academic achievement that is granted to the top 15% of university students. I passed High School with four distinctions - one of these distinctions was for English Home Language. I also recently recieved my TEFL level 5 certificate to teach English. Other qualifications I obtained was being on the Executive Committee for my faculty in university which was a student representative council that aided students and lecturers with their needs, concerns and academic work.

My name is Melaine Williams, and I am 21 years old. I am a South African citizen as well as a native English speaker. I love working in an academic field and am especially fond of Theology and the English language. I greatly enjoy English literature and often read novels and dive into poetry as a hobby. I believe I am an ambitious and sedulous individual. I am well-organised and always strive to be punctual. I put great pride into my work and aim to deliver quality results. I love working with people and can form a great working environment. Communication is vital to me and it is an easy task for me to commune with people. I believe multi-tasking and time-management are two important skills that I have developed throughout my life. I can also take on a lot of responsibility that is given to me. I perceive that I am affable with a strong character and an infectious personality that makes me a great person to work with. I believe I have the patience and the emotional intelligence to work with various types of students. I can adapt to the different work that is expected of me to teach. I can change my teaching style to match the learning styles of the students to better their studies. I do not teach students to learn their work like parrots but rather teach in a way that would develop a proper understanding of the work. Due to the fact that I also have a passion for Theology and the English language, I have a great deal of knowledge I can impart into a student’s life.
