I consider myself as a student of life. I absolutely love to learn new things, build on what I know, gain real experiences and help others to create their own extraordinary adventures! My most recent qualifications include my Bachelor of Education Intermediate and Senior Phase, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), DASA Ballet Intermediate Foundation, Trinity College Grade 8 Piano, Microsoft Beginner Course. At this stage I am in the process of finishing my first drafts for my writing (website is up and running), I am enrolled at the Creative Reader Academy (Literature), learning violin, continuing with ballet intermediate, working on my Intern Log Book at Harcourts, enrolling in art classes and tutoring local students. I have 7 years experience as a full time teacher and tutor. I have not only just taught in the classroom, but also conducted 2 choirs, accompanied 3 choirs and did voice training for students. And for fun I like to write Murder Mystery Games for events such as birthdays or corporate team building, in which I completely live out my creativity. Well, where shall I begin? Adventure, something to discover, that is what inspires my everyday life. When I teach, I like to use all my relevant experiences, that I have read about and learnt from others, as well as the students that I am working with. Teaching is my specialisation. Helping students discover who they are, how learning can open up so many possibilities and going on an adventure along the way, is my passion. To think creatively isn’t just something for the classroom or a specific assignment, but vcan become second nature when you tap into that mindset. Just to tell you a few other things about me. I am married to an extraordinary man, I have a dog named after Enola Holmes, a white bunny named Blue. Coffee is my favourite hot drink and something sweet will always find me. I love to bake, read books, watch films, playing with my pets, doing ballet and music. Spending time with my husband and my family is definitely my favourite pass time. Things are not always as sunny, but when the rain comes, why not splash around in it and create the most terrific fun!
