Hi there! My name is Matilde but everyone calls me Tilly! I am a professional actress and presenter with over 6 years of professional training. I have always had a huge interest in acting and I have especially trained my whole life to become a theatre practitioner! My main strenghts are the use and study of the method by Stanislavski, which is used a lot in modern acting. I am also a professional presenter and can help you understand the practice of performing, improvising, presenting and public speaking better! I have learned loads of methods throughout my life on how to memorise text fast, how to understand the physical and emotional processes of a character and how to give a truthful, real performance. I have a very different approach to acting, that has worked even with people who have never acted!
I can teach: Acting. Movement. Theatre/performing art practices. Stanislavski's and Grotowski's methods. Acting exercises for all ages. Presenting/public speaking. Improvisation. Story-telling. I have special expertise in Method Acting, Improv, Playground theatre (an acting game used by the practitioner and teacher Ramiro Silveira) and Presenting/public speaking. This can be done with both grown-ups or kids. I have also had training in non-western theatre practices, such as Balinese theatre, Bharatanatyam, Noh Theatre, Mask and religious practices. I have had training in Clowning and Commedia De'll arte. I also had detailed training into interpreting Shakespeare's work and Greek playwriters. Even though I don't consider myself an expert in these areas, I can definitely also teach them with much detail.
