I am a final year Law student at a Russell Group University. I am predicted to achieve a First Class in my degree.
I have tutored in GCSE Mathematics and English Literature, 11+, and A-Level English Literature. My prior experience and stellar academic record (achieved the highest possible grade for all of my GCSE subjects) makes me a great fit to be a tutor. The subjects I can tutor in are as follows: GCSE (Maths, English Literature, English Language, Geography, Biology, Latin, Chemistry, Physics, History, Classical Civilisation), A-Level (English Literature, Geography, and Biology), 11+, and Law (all core subjects at university level, exam technique, and general advice on writing style).
I can also tutor foreign students in English as a modern foreign language, being a native English speaker with excellent grades in GCSE English Language and Literature, and also in A-Level English Literature. My numerous first class grades in Law modules also indicate my strength and proficiency in the English language.
I achieved the highest possible grade in all 10 of my GCSEs (7A*s, 3 9's) and passed the 11+. I am also a final year Law student at a Russell Group university and I am predicted to achieve a First Class in my degree.
I have experience tutoring people between the ages of 9 and 21, and I have also worked as a mentor so I am able to explain concepts very clearly. I teach students using my own notes with which I achieved top grades in all my subjects. I also use past exam papers to help improve the student's exam technique.
I structure the lesson so that there is constant involvement with the student- for example, I go through questions with the student, showing them an example answer of my own and then I make the student answer and give them feedback. This allows the student to implement what they have just learnt and put it to practice. It also allows the student to see where they could improve once they have the basics of exam technique down. I use Zoom and Microsoft teams as the platform on which I teach, but I am open to using other platforms as well.
