I have a BA in German and a Minor in Russian (with honors) from Michigan State University. I'm currently writing my MA thesis on International Humanitarian Law at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and learning Romanian. For over two years I was assistant coordinator of the Kids & Teens Department at a German-American Institute. I organized and designed language camps, online courses, and immersive experiences, while also teaching English.
Présentation
As a language learner myself, I personally understand the importance and challenges of mastering a language. I have taught English and ESL to young children, teens, and adults. I have taught individuals from many (linguistic) backgrounds and have extensive experience with native German speakers. I am most familiar with the U.S. and German education systems (ACT, SAT, college admissions, TOEFL, Abitur, Realshule), but am motivated to learn and adapt to other needs.
