Hello, my name is A K Ramakrishna. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from MVGR College of Engineering, where I gained a strong foundation in the principles and practices of civil engineering. I further pursued my passion for structural engineering by completing my Master's degree at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. I studied mathematics as a subject up to my Masters level. During my academic journey, I developed a keen interest in teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. To fulfill this passion, I started my teaching career as a Subject Matter Expert in civil engineering at Chegg. In this role, I provided handwritten solutions to students' questions, assisting them in understanding complex engineering concepts. This experience enhanced my ability to explain technical topics in a clear and concise manner.

For the past three years, I have been working as a Tutor at Course Hero, where I have had the opportunity to support students from various educational backgrounds. As a tutor, I have provided guidance and academic support across a range of subjects, including civil engineering & mathematics . This experience has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills while adapting to the diverse learning needs of students. Additionally, I have two years of tutoring experience at Numerade, I explained mathematical concepts (middle school & high school) to more than 350 students through online video platform. where I further honed my instructional abilities and expertise in assisting students with their academic challenges. This experience has reinforced my commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. My teaching philosophy centers around promoting active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. I believe in creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated and empowered to explore and understand concepts.
