Hey there, I´m Jessica - a Mechanical Engineer from the state of Florida with a strong passion for teaching! I started teaching Math throughout my time in college. Today, I teach Math, English, Science, and Spanish to all levels and ages via Zoom/Google-meet. I´ve worked with students in K-12/College and I understand the importance of explaining in detail. Math has always been part of my life, and honestly, I can´t live without it - it´s my favorite subject to teach. All of my sessions are filled with interactive activities, warm-up games, colors, and engaging step-by-step methods that are easy to follow. Students tend to let me know this is one thing they love - the steps! I aim to create a strong relationship with my students that goes beyond the screen. This way, the student feels comfortable with me and the material. After all, there's always a hidden owl in ¨knowledge¨! Outside of that, a few years ago I fell in love with Spain´s accent, culture, and food. Today, I live in the beautiful city of Madrid continuing my professional career as a teacher/tutor. I hope to become a well-rounded educator and learn about the people around me. I enjoy nature, hiking, fashion design, and playing the Ukelele.
