I went to a teacher training college called St Mary’s University, Belfast, for four years where I completed my Bachelors of Education (Hons) Primary degree. Therefore, I am a qualified primary school teacher. I have taught in an ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in central London for the past three years. The school is in a very multi-cultural and diverse area so I taught many children from all over the world, with different nationalities, needs and abilities. I was the head of the Year 5 department, meaning I oversaw all of the teaching and planning within the year group. I have also tutored privately, both for English and maths and for guitar lessons. I am an accomplished musician who has played in many venues all over the world.

I am 25 years old and I am from Ireland. I am a qualified primary school teacher and experienced musician. I like to promote a fun, engaging and exciting experience when offering my teaching expertise. I have taught in a primary classroom for the past three years and delivered outstanding teaching through effective methods that I have learned from the extensive training offered by the school. I was given training once a week, every week, for two years, by some of the top educationalists in the UK. This has helped me implement a wide range of fun and exciting methods within my classroom. I have also tutored secondary students to help them with the curriculum they study in school. As well as that, I have taught a wide age range of people how to play the guitar and helped them to achieve the grades they are working towards. My view is that every single person is different, and so no one learns the same as someone else. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to the needs of my student so that they can thrive in the environment and be successful.
