I have worked as a MFL secondary school teacher for the last 17 years in the north west of England. I have a 2:1 joint BA Hons university degree from Salford university in Spanish and French. I then completed a PGCE in Spanish and French. I have 10 GCSE’s all B grade and above. I completed A levels in Spanish , French and Classical Civilisation and was awarded B grades in all 3.

I am a Spanish and French secondary school teacher with 17 years experience is teaching all key stages. I also have experience of teaching Spanish to primary school aged children. I am passionate about teaching languages and I love helping students on their language learning journey. I have a modern and enthusiastic teaching style, with a wide variety of teaching resources. I am up to date with the National curriculum and have an excellent knowledge of the GCSE and A level exam courses. I focus on developing all 4 skills; speaking, writing, reading and listening. My aim is to make language learning fun and relevant for each student. I aim to instil confidence in my students and I always teach in a clear and easy to follow way. I pride myself on building excellent relationships with students and I have a very positive and approachable manner. I have always found my lessons and teaching techniques to be received very positively by my students. However if there are certain ways which you may prefer to be taught, or if you have personal goals regarding what you would like to achieve, I welcome conversations from all prospective clients and will do my very best to accommodate any requests.
