Hello! I am currently a 4th year MSci student at the University of Aberdeen studying Biological Sciences with a focus on Marine Biology and Conservation Genetics. While pursuing my studies, I have been a part of multiple teaching and science outreach endeavors, such as teaching marine biology to primary students with the Marine Society Outreach Program, being a biology student teacher for secondary school students this coming semester at Harlaw Academy, and providing tours at the Aberdeen Zoology Museum. Beyond this, I have been providing family friends with science-related tutoring, and have received first honours in all of my courses so far. I am thrilled to get to work with more eager students!

I am a nationally recognised Biologist School Ambassador under the UK Undergraduate Ambassador Scheme, currently student-teaching a specialised lesson plan in marine biology, molecular ecology, and modern conservation. I have experience teaching ages from primary to secondary education, and am passionate about all things biology, but have a particular interest and dedication to the realm of marine biology. However, my expertise ranges from microscopic to ecosystem-wide, and over the past 4 years at the University of Aberdeen I have gained an array of lab and field experience in the biological sciences to further bolster my education on the topic. As a teacher who is also currently a student, I have access to a vast database of teaching materials ranging from textbooks, to published papers, to educational materials, to previous lectures that have helped shape me as a burgeoning scientist. Students will determine the areas they need help with the most, and I will tailor these core concepts with what is explicitly required in their respective national curriculums.
