I have a bachelor's degree in fine art from the University of goldsmiths. I have tutored 16-18 year old from a local school in Lewisham for the past year helping them prepare for the final year projects.

Hi I'm emily, I am Artist Filmmmaker and Performer recently graduating from Goldsmiths. When it comes to teaching art I find having an informal conversation about interests, likes/dislikes, frustrations etc helps get the creative ball rolling. Finding a project you are passionate about is the most important thing. I can help guide you with suggestions, artists to research and contextual ideas to enrichen your work to mould it into a developed practice. I have experience in most fields of art with specialisation in photography, film, performance and written work, but dabble in all media. I have a fun laidback but productive way of teaching which encourages a trusting relationship between tutor and tutee, all ideas are good ideas!
