I have completed my matric year in 2013, I than went oversea to au pair in Ireland. When I returned to South Africa, I did a warehouse and marketing course, but figured that this wasn't for me. After I completed the course, I worked at an Aftercare in my hometown I worked here up until the covid outbreak, and I also got sick and had to leave my job. A year later I worked as a teacher's assistant at a school this was for about 2 years. In the year 2021 I got an offer to come work at a special needs school as an assistant teacher here I learnt the basics through courses about how to deal with children on the ASD realm. Currently I still work here and started studying through UNISA last year so that I can have a certificate/something behind my name that can back up my experience in the field. For the past 3 years I have also been a tutor to multiple children varying in different ages from around 8 to 16. I helped with Maths, English, Afrikaans and exam prep.

I am Bronwyn a South African with 5+years of in person teaching experience. I have experience as a tutor ages 8-16 in subjects English, Afrikaans and Maths. I like using physical objects to explain certain concepts and ideas. I have been working at a special needs school which has allowed me to think out of the box more and do more research into the range of inclusive education and how to make sure students are all treated fairly and adequately. Chloe failed maths in term 1 Gr7 in 2022 with 38% in maths. I then took her to teacher Bronwyn at Pace learning centre for maths tutoring and she's drastically improved in her maths for the duration of the year. I am forever grateful to her. The fear of your child failing a grade because she don't understand the subject is scary. Once again from the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank you for helping our daughter.
