Bachelors of the Science of Engineering (specialized in Computer Science) at Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa which is the highest rated technical university in Sri Lanka. Following MSc in Computer Science (specializations: Distributed and Networked Systems, Information Systems and Software Engineering) at RPTU Kaiserslautern - Landau (Formally knows as Technical University, Kaiserslautern) and already half way through. In addition, I have completed the advanced Node.js course "The Node.js Master Class" including certification.
I am someone who only works for passion. If you need to learn programming, maybe I can guide you. I have helped and guided several friends of mine to switch careers from a non Computer Science field to Software Engineering. And I have conducted several technical sessions for my work colleagues regarding asynchronous programming, databases and consistency etc.

A back-end specialized software engineer with over 2 years of experience in developing latency critical, high available distributed systems for financial capital markets. An enthusiastic Computer Science and Engineering graduate, with strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. Member of a successful hackathon team during university life. Highly experienced in Node.js, AWS, MongoDB, Redis, SQL and Java. True sports lover. Played table tennis and chess for the university and school. A die-hard football fan as well. Senior prefect and senior chess captain at Royal College in 2014. Like to travel, have deep conversations with people, listen to calm music and try out new food when I have free time.
