I studied BA, MA and PhD in English Language Teaching. I have been in the field of education for 32 years. I worked at almost every school type and level, ranging from primary to university. After working at public schools for 13 years, I moved to university and taught students from preparatory years to upper grades. In my last 7 years I worked at the department of English Language Teaching and was the Head of Department for the last two years. Unfortunately, the university was closed by the Turkish government in 2017. After that I worked at private middle and high schools. At the moment I am giving Academic Writing and General English courses at a private high school. This background enables me to be able to help students from different levels and with varying aims and objectives. I can easily communicate with students of all ages and understand them well. Throughout my career, starting from 1995, I also worked as a teacher trainer and trainer trainer. I worked for the Ministry of Education and also for the British Council. I taught and coordinated the Teacher Development and Trainer Training courses in İzmir, Turkey.

Dear students, I can say that I have dedicated my life to teaching and learning. A perfect teacher is a learner him/herself. Everybody has different ways and styles of learning. As teachers, we need to discover our students' preferences and likes, dislikes and then design our lessons according to them. I basically love using technology and discovering new and exciting ways of teaching. I am here to help you. Hope to meet one day.
